In this world, things are not simple and everything, even the most terrible at first glance, has its explanation, everything happens for a reason, everything has a beginning. Most of the prisoners are people with hard stories, hard fates and deficitsof attention. I thought about what I could do to make them feel significant, something they would remember, something they will experience for the first time. And I found it – to be in the center of the spotlight and to be brought there by a person who has been in this place all his life. An hour spent photographed by me is a big event for them. When I finish the project, I want to have an exhibition inside the prison. And then they will be the actors – the stars, and I, the actor, will be the photographer who has taken pictures of the stars.
